The Palma Washingtonia has a thin trunk and can reach 30 meters in height. The filifera variety grows faster than the robust and is recognized for the base of the purple-red petiole.
To furnish gardens, delimit borders and avenues, La Palma Washingtonia is a plant that can find a place in small or very large spaces.
The American palm can be planted alone or next to other specimens to create symmetrical or random games of islands and corridors or invitations to look up or to contain visual spaces.
Uprooting and transplanting of Washingtonia palms
The ideal period for the removal of Washingtonia filifera or robust is from May to September. Washingtonia is grubbed up with a clod of earth which must be stabilized and prepared for replanting.
The grubbing up and removal of the Washingtonias on offer are the responsibility of the buyer; it is possible to make use of local companies for the operations of explantation, transport and planting.
