Cycas is an evergreen plant, long-lived and suitable for the garden and flower beds. It has a short, woody trunk covered with brown scales. Slow growth makes them long-lived plants.
Cycas requires little care and can live at temperatures between -10 ° C to + 40 ° C, without presenting problems of climatic adaptability.
The Cycas revoluta grows up to 1.5 meters in height in the apartment or in confined spaces, in the open field it can reach 3 meters in height. An adult Cycas has a diameter of 3-4 meters.
